Приветствие: Good morning dear lyceum pupils. Good morning dear guests.
I hope
you are in a good mood. I`m sure that you are.
II. СООБЩЕНИЕ ТЕМЫ И ЗАДАЧ УРОКА
The theme of our lesson is the science and technical progress. We`ll talk about
outstanding people of the planet.
We`ll discuss about Edison, Morse, Bell, Einstein, Gates and Walt Disney and about
others. We`ll revise grammar forms of the Passive Voice and do exercises.
III. АКТУАЛИЗАЦИЯ ОПОРНЫХ ЗНАНИЙ УЧАЩИХСЯ
T. Try to recite the poem in a rap style.
- Why aren`t you married?

Then the teacher and the learners change over.

T. When we speak or read about outstanding people we often use Passive structures, for
example: Computers are used everywhere.

When is SOS used? How is it sent? (Sailors use it when they need help. SOS is sent by
the telegraph or by the radio.)
Who has the story about S. Morse prepared?

And now we are going to speak about the invention which is widely used and very
loved. You have already guessed. Yes, it`s a telephone. Do you have a telephone? Do you
often use it? Can you imagine your life without the telephone? Do you know when telephone
was invented? And who was it invented by?

T. Money is meaningless after a certain point. It ceases to be the goal.
The game is what counts (Aristotle Onassis, Greek millionaire).
T. To you mind is it easy to be millionaire? Do you want to be reach? And you? Why?
In your opinion what kind of person is Gates? Do you want to have a pot of money?
