Разработка внеклассного мероприятия «Song Contest»
для учащихся 7 классов ГБОУ гимназия № 540 Цель конкурса: расширение филологического и общего кругозора учащихся, повышение мотивации изучения английского языка, знакомство с культурой стран изучаемого языка. Подготовительный этап: 1. Учащиеся выбирают песню на английском языке. 2. Важное условие: в конкурсе участвуют все учащиеся группы 3. Учащиеся готовят презентацию (3-4 мин) о выбранной песне, указывая:  Автора  Исполнителя /исполнителей  интересные факты о песне 4. Участники продумывают форму представления песни, костюмы, декорации (по желанию) 5. Выбирается ведущий конкурса, который объявляет участников, представляет жюри, объявляет результаты конкурса. 6. Для оценки представленных конкурсных песен и определения победителей и призеров, приглашается жюри (члены ШНО, классные руководители, учителя музыки, методисты) Ход конкурса: 1. Участники исполняют выбранную песню на английском языке. 2. Жюри оценивает выступление участников, определяет победителей и призеров конкурса. При оценивании учитывается мнение зрителей. Каждая группа вручает звезду понравившемуся номеру. Зрители не могут голосовать за свою группу. 3. Результаты конкурса объявляются сразу после его завершения. 4. Победители приглашаются на гала-концерт по итогам проведения декады иностранных языков. 5. Результаты заносятся ведущими преподавателями в таблицу для годового отчета с указанием даты проведения, призеров и победителей. 6. Рекомендуется проведение рефлексии на уроках иностранного языка после проведения конкурса и определения победителей. Дополнительные материалы для проведения конкурса

Dear friends, welcome to our great performance. This year we are having the song contest. In less than 5 minutes you will hear 3 popular songs in English from 3 groups of our class. Each group has to present the song, giving brief information about it and sing the song they`ve prepared. Now I think it`s time to tell you some words about the criteria. Each group can get maximum 8 points from each teacher: 5 points for your presentation, and 3 points for your singing. The group which gets the most points is the winner. Who will be the first? It`s rather a question. I can help you. I need one person from each group. Come here and take your card. You can see your number on it. So, you`re group 1, group 2 and group 3. Let me introduce our song contest jury to you: our teachers of English _______________. Hope you won`t be very strict to our contestants. You also can give points to the performance you like best. Each group gets the star (the audience award). It costs 2 points. At the end of our show you can vote for the group you like best. You can`t vote for your own group, of course.
